Q: What size field do they play on?
A: Bases are 60’ apart, pitching rubber is 46’ from home plate, regulation Little League field.
Q: Can my child play on a team with friends?
A: Only if drafted onto that team. Players’ skills are evaluated in a skills assessment, followed by a draft (Spring season only).
Q: Can I manage or coach a team?
A: Yes, if positions are available. Managers must complete an online application. Coaches should indicate interest on child’s spring registration. All approvals are required by the Chesterfield Little League Board of Directors.
Q: Will my child play all the time?
A: No. No player sits twice until all have sat once, except pitcher and catcher.
